There are currently four staff catering outlets on site offering a variety of hot and cold food and beverages – popular spaces where staff can socialise and hold informal meetings. Our staff also enjoy the use of the following amenities in these areas:

Microwaves for staff to heat up food are located in Murrays, the DiNA and the Link Café. - Contactless payments
All catering are contactless payments only. - Cash machine
Located immediately behind Pebbles, is a free to use cash machine. - Hospitality catering
Catering can be provided to meeting rooms and is booked internally through the staff intranet. This service is chargeable.
Catering facilities on Campus
Murray's Restaurant
This is the main restaurant and is located in the Cairns Pavilion; it serves breakfast daily from 8:00 until 10:00 and lunch from 12:00 until 14:00 Monday – Friday. The restaurant offers a selection of hot and continental breakfast choices. At lunchtimes, the restaurant offers a variety of hot main courses, stone-baked pizza, jacket potatoes and homemade soup.
Pebbles
This is a small coffee bar also located within the Cairns Pavilion; it is open from 8:00 until 16:00 Monday – Friday. As well as made to order coffee and tea, the coffee bar offers, a selection of cold beverages, boxed salads, sandwiches, crisps, fruit, confectionary and a selection of freshly-made cakes. It also offers for sale postage stamps and a range of greeting cards.
DiNA
This is a grab & go style cafe located on the ground floor of our shared facilities in the Sulston building, with both internal and external seating; it is open from 7:30 until 16:30 Monday – Friday. This cafe offers a selection of hot and cold beverages, boxed salads, sandwiches, toasties and paninis, homemade soup, jacket potatoes with a range of fillings, crisps, fruit, confectionary and a delicious selection of freshly-made cakes. There is also a vending machine for when the cafe is closed and self-serve hot and cold water.
Link Café
This is a grab & go cafe located on the link bridge between the BioData Innovation Centre and Ogilvie buildings it is open from 8:00 until 16:00 Monday – Friday The cafe offers a selection of hot and cold beverages, boxed salads, sandwiches and paninis, crisps, fruit, confectionary and cake. There is also a vending machine for when the café is closed and self-serve hot and cold water.
Getting out for lunch is a great way to get to know colleagues from across the Campus and to relax and socialise. The cafes and restaurant have a lot of choice and the prices are reasonable.
